Prior to Millersville: Member of the Eastern Michigan swimming program for two years.
High School: Won four varsity letters in swimming...All-Berks County honoree all four years...Helped break the state record in the 200 freestyle relay...Earned All-American status four times in 200 freestyle relay and three times in 200 medley relay...Also an All-American in the 400 freestyle relay, 100 backstroke and 50 freestyle.
Personal: Daughter of Rory and Julie Straub...Has one older brother (Derek)...Derek swam at Bloomsburg...Mother, Julie, swam, played field hockey and lacrosse and Shippensburg...Majoring in early childhood education.
