Jonathan Ramos joined the Millersville coaching staff as running backs coach and video coordinator prior to the 2011 season. 

Ramos has been instrumental in Millersville's efforts in the weight room and conditioning. In 2013, his pupil Ian Sadon became Millersville's first 1,000-yard rusher in seven years. He has coached three running backs that have rushed for more than 400 yards. Marquis White averaged 4.6 yards per carry in 2011, and Ian Sadon and Myron Myles combined for 848 yards and seven touchdowns in 2012. He helped Mike Jones transition between running back and wide receiver. Under Ramos' guidance, Jones rushed for three touchdowns, caught four touchdowns and led the team in catches with 54.

Ramos came to Millersville after two seasons coaching running backs and linebackers at Division III MacMurray College in Illinois.

Prior to his first coaching position, Ramos played four seasons as a safety and linebacker at NAIA affiliate Tabor College. As a senior in 2008, he ranked third on the team in tackles with 53.

Ramos received his bachelor's degree in athletic training and strength and conditiong in 2008. In 2010, he earned a master's degree in exercise science from California (Pa.). He also holds a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
