Among the most prolific offensive players in Millersville history, Erica Metz '20 has returned to her alma mater as the field hockey program's assistant coach.
From 2016-19, Metz scored 40 goals and 101 points, ranking third all-time in both categories. She is one of only two Marauders to score double-digit goals in three seasons. Metz was selected All-PSAC East First Team three times and is one of only two players in program history named All-America First Team three times.
Metz started her coaching career as a volunteer assistant at Millersville, and then served as an assistant at Manheim Central High School. She has coached youth players for Viper Sports. Most recently, Metz was hired as the assistant coach for a brand new Penn State Harrisburg program.
Metz graduated from Millersville with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
