From his first touch on Millersville University pitch, Andrew Dukes made an impact with his offense and winning play, becoming one of just two players in the history of the men's soccer program to be named All-PSAC and All-Atlantic Region four times.
Dukes, a two-time team captain, accumulated impressive offensive numbers as he ranks fifth in Millersville history with 88 points. He tallied 35 goals, which rank fifth, and 18 assists, which place him eighth. Dukes paced his team in either goals, assists or points in all four seasons of his career. In addition to earning postseason honors in all four seasons, Dukes became Millersville’s first PSAC Freshman of the Year award winner in 2010. At the time of graduation, he was only the second player in the history of the Atlantic Region to earn all-region honors four times. He helped Millersville to four consecutive postseason finishes, the program’s first PSAC Championship and two NCAA Tournament berths.
Dukes exploded onto the PSAC scene as a freshman, totaling a team-high 11 goals and 24 points while starting all 18 games. He ranked second in the PSAC in goals that season and earned Daktronics All-Atlantic Region First Team recognition. He followed that debut with a brilliant sophomore campaign in which he led the team in scoring once more and contributed to a memorable postseason run that included the program’s first PSAC Championship and a trip to the NCAA Semifinals.
As a junior, Dukes led the PSAC with seven assists and became the first Marauder named All-Atlantic Region three times. As a senior, he ranked in the PSAC’s top four in both goals and points, tallied the seventh-most points in program history with 29 and became the third player in program history to twice score double-digit goals in a season.
After graduating with a degree in finance and business management, Dukes earned a master’s degree in finance from Purdue in 2020. Dukes has worked with JPMorgan Chase & Company since graduation and is currently vice president for anti-money laundering investigations.
