Roy Parkyn has been selected as the PSAC East Athlete of the Week

LOCK HAVEN, Pa - Roy Parkyn's two-goal performance in Millersville's win over Lock Haven earned him PSAC East Athlete of the Week.
So far this season, Parkyn leads the Marauders with three goals and six total points. He also paces the team with 14 shot attempts and ranks fifth in minutes played, logging 323 through the first five matches.
Parkyn opened the scoring in the 14th minute off an assist from Alex Delavan, who drove toward the net and set him up for an open look. The Millersville forward struck again later in the match, capitalizing on a deflected pass that landed at his feet to net his second goal of the game.
Millersville returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. against Wilmington University.
