Millersville men's golf produces two All-America Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. - The Millersville men's golf program, under the direction of Coach Scott Vandegrift, received academic recognition on Tuesday as Eric Miller and Timothy Peters were named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars. 

The award, through the Golf Coaches Association of America, is presented to sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes who participate in at least 50% of their team's rounds, have a stroke average of 78.0 or lower and maintain a 3.2 GPA. Miller and Peters are both first-time honorees. 

Miller posted a 76.4 stroke average across 25 rounds and recorded seven top-10 finishes. A two-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete, Miller has a 3.42 GPA in business. 

Peters landed his second Millersville All-PSAC honor in 2024-25 while setting a program record with a 72.6 scoring average. He finished in the top 10 in 12 of 13 events. Peters, who was also named CSC Academic All-District, produced a 3.67 GPA as a sports administration major.
