Hauf, Hessler, and Malecki earn All-Region for indoor season performances

| By:
NEW ORLEANS, La. — Darian Hauf, Sarah Hessler, and Megan Malecki were named 2024 USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Region honorees for the second straight year.

The distinction goes to the top five individuals in each event from each region, as Hauf and Malecki earned the distinction in pole vault, and Hessler in the shot put. The trio were recognized as All Region last year as well, though Hessler's performance was in the weight throw. Hauf was unable to finish the season, but not before breaking the conference record in pole vault at the Bison Open and Multi after she cleared a height of 13-2 1/4. Malecki stepped up in her teammates' absence, finishing the indoor season in second place at the conference meet, and hitting a new personal record height of 12-2 3/4 at the Susquehanna Invite. Hessler moved up to fourth place in the program record book for shot put after a second-place performance at the conference championships with a mark of 44-10 3/4. Additionally, all three hit the NCAA provisional mark in their respective events.

The Marauders begin their outdoor season on March 28 at the two-day Towson Invite in Towson, Md..
