Four Marauders hit PSAC marks at FastTrack National Invite

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The first half of a busy weekend took place for the Marauders in the Big Apple, with a group of 'Ville's track & field team competing at the FastTrack National Invitational.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Sarah Hessler's strong season continued, as the junior improved her mark in the weight throw to 52-10.
- Cora Heilman was the second Marauder who already qualified for the conference meet to improve her mark, hitting a time of 2:22.97 in the 800-meter run.
- Chanel Hercules, the conference runner-up last season, will be heading back to the PSAC Championship after reaching the qualifying mark of 17-7 ¾.
- Bri Pollock comfortably hit the 3,000-meter qualifying mark at the meet, punching her championship ticket with a time of 10:29.54.
- After qualifying for the 200-meter dash last week, Jillian Sydnor will also be competing in the 400-meter dash at the PSAC Championships after finishing with a time of 58.43.
- The sixth and final Marauder to hit a qualifying mark today was Sabela Zablackis, who made it under the time with a 9.32 finish.

- The Marauders have a quick turnaround with another meet this weekend, competing at the Blue and White Meet at Franklin & Marshall starting at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning.
