MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - On Thursday, Feb. 20, Millersville Athletics is asking alumni, friends and supporters to give to what they love as part of Millersville University's annual One Day Give.
Millersville Athletics continues to annually set records for giving on the University's annual One Day Give, and the department looks to replicate that feat in 2025 with the support of its friends and fans. The One Day Give is a significant annual fundraising event for Millersville Athletics. It helps provide scholarship funds and program support for student-athletes. The theme for the One Day Give is once again "Give to What You Love," and alumni and supporters are encouraged to share their gifts and messages on social media to spread awareness of the event.
The best time to give is between 11 a.m.-12 p.m. If athletics receives 100 donors during this one-hour period, a $5,000 gift for the general athletics fund will be unlocked.
An athletics leaderboard returns, and there is an incentive to finish at the top, so each gift and each dollar can be multiplied for the program. The men's and women's teams with the most gifts at the conclusion of the One Day Give will receive an additional $1,000 gift. The men's and women's teams with the highest total of dollars raised will receive an extra $1,000.
Additionally, the top men's and women's teams with the highest amount raised compared to their total from last year's One Day Give will receive an additional $1,000, and the teams with the greatest increase in donors will also receive $1,000.
