MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Millersville University director of athletics Kate Corcoran has announced Daniel Tecce as the department's new strength and conditioning coach. Tecce is familiar with the PSAC landscape, bringing experience from Mercyhurst and Kutztown.
"We are pleased to welcome Dan into Millersville Athletics as our head strength and conditioning coach," said Corcoran. "Dan displayed a passion and enthusiasm throughout the interview process that will allow him to have a positive impact on our student-athletes and department. I am excited to see the growth of the strength and conditioning program for all Marauder student-athletes develop under his leadership."
In his role, Tecce will work closely with coaches and oversee the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for all 19 of Millersville's teams.
Tecce comes to Millersville after two years as the strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Mercyhurst University where he earned a master's degree in organizational leadership. With the Lakers, Tecce worked directly with the softball, men's and women's lacrosse, tennis, and water polo teams. He simultaneously worked at ESN Fitness training youth, high school and collegiate athletes.

From 2021 to 2022, Tecce worked with cheerleading, golf, softball, football and men's lacrosse as a strength and conditioning apprentice at Robert Morris University.
As an undergraduate student at Kutztown, Tecce assisted with the strength and conditioning efforts of eight teams while managing the field hockey, cheerleading and wrestling programs.
Tecce earned a bachelor's degree in sports management from Kutztown in 2021.
