ABOUT THE GAME
- The Millersville Marauders (3-5, 1-3) host PSAC East opponent No. 15 Kutztown Golden Bears (7-2, 3-1) on Sunday at Biemesderfer Stadium. Coming into the matchup both teams are looking for a bounce back win. Millersville just suffered a 19-15 loss to conference opponent Shepherd. As for Kutztown, they just took their first PSAC East loss against No. 2 West Chester, 16-9. Before their loss to West Chester, Kutztown was 4-0 with three conference wins.

SCOUTING THE MARAUDERS
- Millersville is 1-3 in PSAC East play, not the start they intended, but they look to upset a conference competitor Sunday.
- Rachel Keeney currently leads the Marauders in goals scored with 21. She averages about 2.63 goals per game and set her season high of goals scored against Shepherd, netting six. Next in line behind Keeney is Ashlyn Simonetti with 14 goals and Kaleigh Funk with 13.
- Ella Linthicum, an essential part of the Marauders offense, leads the team in assists with 12. She is the sole Marauder to be in double digits with assists.
- Morgan Scott has started every game in net thus far for Millersville. Scott has a 13.20 goals-against average along with a .424 save percentage. She has made 72 saves throughout eight games and has 98 goals against.
- After eight games, the Marauders are very accurate and analytical when shooting as they have a 0.825 shots on goal percentage and average 27.1 shots per game. They are 20-40 on successful conversions of free position attempts with a 0.500 average. From a defensive standpoint, they have caused 72 turnovers, collected 165 ground balls, and a .806 successful clear percentage.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN BEARS
- The Golden Bears have a diverse offense as they have five players in double digits of goals scored within nine games. Sam Graf has scored 37 goals thus far while averaging a 4.11 goals per game. She is ranked second in the PSAC standings for goals per game. Behind her but not close are teammates Lailah ElBouazzaoui with 23 goals and shannon Lake with 22. Their leading assister who also leads the PSAC in assists is Emma Meakim as she has 29 on the season and averages 3.22 a game.
- The starting goalkeeper for Kutztown is Jenna Blesson. In her 2024 season, she has started and played in eight of their nine games. In the last eight games, Blesson has logged 400.22 minutes while having a 62 goals against with a 9.29 goal-against average. Blesson has saved 54 shots with a 0.454 save percentage.
- As a team, they average 15.2 goals a game with a .696 shot-on-goal percentage. They have scored 137 goals while holding thier opponents to 77. The Golden Bears rely heavily on assists as 63 of their 137 goals have been assisted. They average 34.7 shots per game while keeping opponents to 21.4. The last time the Marauders beat to the Golden Bears was back in 2022 when Millersville prevailed 13-10 on the road.
