Ortwein named Academic All-District

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Millersville guard Brenna Ortwein has been named to the 2023-24 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team for performing at an elite level on the court as well as in the classroom. It is the junior's second straight honor after being named to the team in 2022-23 as well.
Ortwein has earned the recognition every year that she has been eligible, as student-athletes must be at least a sophomore to be considered. Other criteria include having a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and excelling on the court as well as in the classroom. She paced the Marauders in rebounds, steals and minutes per game with 6.2, 1.6 and 31.2, respectively. Ortwein ranked twentieth in the PSAC in rebounding and fifteenth in steals per contest as well.
