Marauders qualify three for PSAC Championships at Plex Shootout

READING, Pa. – The Marauders team had three athletes qualify for the PSAC Championships, highlighting their day at the Plex Shootout at Alvernia University.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Danika Bolinsky won the triple jump for the Marauders after a second-place finish in her last appearance. Bolinsky qualified for the PSAC Championships with a jump of 377 1/4.
Chanel Hercules took home first place in the long jump after recording a jump of 17-8 1/4. Hercules also qualified for the PSAC Championships.
The third Marauder to clinch a spot in the PSAC Championships was Morgan Janiuk in the one-mile run. Janiuk recorded a time of 5:20.57 and placed third in the event.
Darian Hauf won the pole vault, clearing a height of 11-3 3/4. Hauf has started 2024 with four consecutive finishes inside the top two in pole vault.
Katelyn Murphy beat her previous personal record to win the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.28, putting her tied for fourth in program history.
Sarah Hessler finished in second place in both the weight throw and shot put. Hessler finished the weight throw with a throw of 46-10, and the shot put with a throw of 38-11.
The team of Aubrey Sydnor, Emma Elwell, Sabela Zablackis, and Claire Coons placed second in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:49.68.
In the 400-meter dash, Shelby Derkosh finished third with a time of 1:01.33.
