Marauders qualify three for PSAC Championships at Plex Shootout

READING, Pa. – The Marauders team had three athletes qualify for the PSAC Championships, highlighting their day at the Plex Shootout at Alvernia University.

- Danika Bolinsky won the triple jump for the Marauders after a second-place finish in her last appearance. Bolinsky qualified for the PSAC Championships with a jump of 377 1/4.
- Chanel Hercules took home first place in the long jump after recording a jump of 17-8 1/4. Hercules also qualified for the PSAC Championships.
- The third Marauder to clinch a spot in the PSAC Championships was Morgan Janiuk in the one-mile run. Janiuk recorded a time of 5:20.57 and placed third in the event.
- Darian Hauf won the pole vault, clearing a height of 11-3 3/4. Hauf has started 2024 with four consecutive finishes inside the top two in pole vault.
- Katelyn Murphy beat her previous personal record to win the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.28, putting her tied for fourth in program history.
- Sarah Hessler finished in second place in both the weight throw and shot put. Hessler finished the weight throw with a throw of 46-10, and the shot put with a throw of 38-11.
- The team of Aubrey Sydnor, Emma Elwell, Sabela Zablackis, and Claire Coons placed second in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:49.68.
- In the 400-meter dash, Shelby Derkosh finished third with a time of 1:01.33.

- Millersville takes a short trip to Franklin and Marshall in Lancaster, Pa. for the Blue and White Invitational at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9.
