KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Isabel Coy, the star forward on the Millersville women's soccer team's front line, earned a spot on the 2024 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women's All-Atlantic Region Third Team.
The junior forward out of York, Pa. is the first Marauder to receive this honor since 2021. Adding to her resume, Coy has also earned All-PSAC East Second Team honors twice in her career.
The offensive threat started and played in all 17 games this season, logging the third-most minutes played on the team with 1,422.
"I am very proud of Izzy to receive all-region recognition," said Millersville head coach Matt Procopio. "You always see her working extremely hard for the team. She will push herself until she physically cannot. She is a constant threat to the opposing team's defense and works just as hard for us defensively. Off the field, she has become more and more of a leader. Her growth over the last three seasons has been great to see. It is great to see her rewarded for all of her efforts and ability."
Coy consistently generated offensive success in leading the team in goals scored notching seven and securing two game-winning goals. While showcasing play-making abilities, the junior recorded two assists for a career-best 16 points.
With one more season of eligibility, Coy will return alongside sophomore Aburey Strohecker as the duo combined for 13 of their 32 goals this season.
