LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Three members of the Millersville women's soccer team–Kiley Marandola, Isabel Coy, and Lia Francis–were awarded All-PSAC East honors, each earning a spot on the second team.
Coy was previously recognized as an All-PSAC East Second Team selection in 2023. This marks the first PSAC East honor for Francis and Marandola.
Coy was an asset to the Marauders' front line, starting every game. She led the Marauders in goals, notching seven and tacking on two assists for 16 points. The junior also scored game-winning goals against Mansfield and West Chester.
Marandola was a vital starting center defensive midfielder, contributing both defensively and offensively. Marandola logged her first collegiate points, totaling eight off two goals and four assists. She was the designated corner kicker and earned three of her four assists from her services.
Francis, a freshman, made an immediate impact on the program. In her collegiate debut against Goldey-Beacom, Francis scored the team's first goal of the season and landed a hat trick in the first 15 minutes of play. Francis logged one more goal to rack up eight points for her first season. Despite an injury, Francis started 15 matches and showcased versatility in the backline and midfield.
Millersville concluded its 2024 season 6-6-5 and fifth in the PSAC East Standings.
