Marauders prepare to host Seton Hill

ABOUT THE MATCH

Millersville, 1-0-1, hosts the Griffins of Seton Hill Saturday at Pucillo Field. Seton Hill is 0-3 on the season. This will be the 14th time these two teams face off since their first meeting in September 2011.

Seton Hill finished last season with an overall record of 8-9-2. Their conference record of 6-2-2 help them place third in the PSAC West and they went on the compete against Gannon in the first round of the PSAC Championship Tournament where they suffered a 4-3 loss.
Leading goal scorer Fletcher Amos returns. He scored 12 goals last season in his 797 minutes of play.
This will be the first season for Dilveer Chaggar as head coach of the program. During the 2021 season, Chaggar served as the assistant coach for both the men's and women's programs. Before that he spent five seasons as the volunteer assistant coach.

Millersville opened its season with a 3-2 win over Ashland. The Marauders then returned home to host Holy Family, which resulted in a 2-2 draw.
Senior Bob Hennessey currently leads the team with two goals. Mike Kreider, Zander Leik, and Josh Rodriguez follow with one apiece.
Through two games, Millersville holds a 25-24 advantage in shots. Richy Valverde has taken a team-high six, placing one on goal. Hennessey has two goals on four shots.
Millersville has five assists on five goals. Leik leads the team with two helpers.

Millersville holds a 10-2-1 lead in the all-time series which began in 2011. The Marauders have one the last three matchups.
Throughout the entirety of the series, Millersville has scored 28 goals while only allowing five.
Millersville is currently 7-0 against Seton Hill when playing at home.
