'Ville wins second-straight Kutztown Spring Invitational

FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Less than 24 hours after winning the Millersville Invitational, the 'Ville women's golf team placed first in the Kutztown Spring Invitational at Moselem Springs Golf Club. This is the Marauders' second-straight victory at the event. Millersville beat out West Chester (351) for the second time in as many days with a score of 63-over-par (343). Kutztown finished No. 3 with a score of 75-over-par (355).
The Marauders have now won two events this spring and three in the academic year.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Marauders are back on the course next Saturday, April 16 for the East Stroudsburg Invitational. It will be the team's last event before the PSAC Championships on April 28.

- 'Ville was led by Charley Kirby who shot 12-over-par (83) and earned a share of third place as a individual. The sophomore improved her score from a year ago by three strokes.
- Amanda Wolf followed Kirby, shooting 13-over-par (83) and finished at No. 5 individually.
- Amanda Steier finished in a tie for eighth place after shooting 18-over-par (88).
- Taylor Hileman shot 20-over-par (90) and rounded out the 'Ville scorers.
The Marauders are back on the course next Saturday, April 16 for the East Stroudsburg Invitational. It will be the team's last event before the PSAC Championships on April 28.
