ABOUT THE GAME
- The Millersville women’s basketball team is coming off a thrilling double overtime win against the Kutztown Golden Bears on Monday night, a team they fell to back on Jan. 11 by 12 points. The victory notched Millersville’s fourth consecutive win which is the second time this season the Marauders have won four straight games and the first time since the 2015-16 season that Millersville has won four consecutive games against PSAC opponents. In three of the four wins, Millersville has held opponents to scoring under 60, the Marauders are 4-0 when limiting conference opponents to under 60 points. Lock Haven fell to Millersville earlier this season which snapped the Marauders’ six game losing streak to the Bald Eagles. - Wednesday’s match-up will notch Brenna Ortwein and Makiah Shaw’s 52nd consecutive games played in the black and gold. Ortwein is consistent under the basket as she has grabbed rebounds in 48 straight games. Head coach Sharay Hall tallied her first win over her alma mater earlier this season and will look for her second straight over the Bald Eagles.
