No. 11 Gannon takes down No .13 Millersville

ERIE, Pa. - No. 11-ranked Gannon scored wins in eight of 10 matches and scored a 37-5 victory over No. 13 Millersville in PSAC dual action Friday night. 

Millersville's two wins came by decision. Devin Flannery, the nation's No. 1-ranked 133-pounder improved to 25-2 on the season, and Tim Uhler picked up a win at 141 pounds. Flannery's win over Chase McLaughin was by a 7-2 score, and Uhler outlasted Joel Huck 2-0, getting a takedown in the sudden victory round. 

Gannon entered the match with four nationally-ranked wrestlers, and two of them paired off against two of Millersville's best. Gannon got the upper-hand in both bouts. At 149, No. 2 Nick Young defeated No. 5 Craig Cook by a 5-1 decision. At 165 pounds, Gannon's fourth-ranked Alex Farenchak downed No. 12 Brandon Connor via 10-2 major decision. 

The Marauders now hold a 10-5 overall record and 3-3 PSAC mark. Gannon improved to 8-5 with a 5-1 PSAC record.
