
Woelfling repeats as weight throw champion during day one of PSAC Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Hannah Woelfling repeated as champion in the women's weight throw during day one of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships in Lewisburg, Pa. The junior recorded a winning mark of 57-3 in her third attempt and picked up 10 points for Millersville, topping Elizabeth Maker (55-2 ¾) and Isabella Marte (55-6 ½) of East Stroudsburg.
Darian Hauf placed second in the pole vault after recording a height of 11-11 ¾. Hauf hit the same mark as champion, Kendall Grossman from Slippery Rock, however Grossman achieved the height on her first attempt while Hauf needed her second. Hauf's second-place finish earned eight points for the Marauders.
The Marauders sit in fourth place with 20 points after day one.
DAY ONE HIGHLIGHTS
The Marauders will be back in action tomorrow for day two of the championships with action starting at 11:30 a.m.

DAY ONE HIGHLIGHTS
- Maddy Downs placed seventh in the weight throw with a distance of 50-0 ½, which earned the Marauders two points.
- On the track, Aubrey Sydnor finished with the third-overall time (59.17) in the 400-meter dash. The sophomore is set to compete in the finals tomorrow.
- De'Asia Holloman earned the No. 4 seed in tomorrow's 60-meter hurdles final, finishing with a time of 9.10 today.
- Aurora Conrad (7.84) finished with the eighth-overall time in the 60-meter dash prelims (7.84) and the the 200-meter prelims (25.88). She'll compete in both finals tomorrow.
- "Hannah took care of business today in the weight. Darin was a little unlucky to finish 2nd knocking the bar off with her own pole on one of her last attempts. Happy to see Aurora make two finals along with Aubrey in the 400 and De'Asia in the hurdles. Also big day for Maddy Downs in the weight."
The Marauders will be back in action tomorrow for day two of the championships with action starting at 11:30 a.m.
