'Ville Football's Garrett Cox named D2CCA All-Super Region 1

FINDLAY, Ohio - Millersville University linebacker Garrett Cox has been named D2CCA All-Super Region 1 First Team.
The D2CCA honors are voted on by the Super Region's college sports communicators. As a first team member, Cox will now be eligible for All-America honors. He is the first Marauder defensive player since 2017 to earn All-Super Region 1 recognition.
Super Region 1 includes teams from the PSAC, Mountain East Conference, Northeast 10 and Great Midwest Athletic Conference,
As a fourth-year junior, Cox led the PSAC and ranked eighth in Division II with 10.4 tackles per game. He also topped the conference and ranked 23rd in the nation in tackles for loss with 16 1/2 (1.5 per game). Cox tallied 7 1/2 sacks, tying for fourth in the PSAC. He recorded double-digit tackles in nine of 11 games.
