Millersville Athletics and Raney Cellars announce Homecoming partnership

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Millersville University Athletics and Raney Cellars Brewing Company are teaming up for a celebration of Homecoming 2023 with the brewing of a special, limited edition Marauder-themed IPA that will be available for purchase both in Raney Cellars and at the Oct. 14 Homecoming football game.
The limited edition beer will be available from Oct. 13-15, and for each one sold, Raney Cellars will donate $2 to Millersville Athletics. The limited edition beer is a Hazy Session IPA brewed with Citra and Loral hops and a 4.7 ABV. Fans can get involved in the naming of the beer as Millersville Athletics hosts a bracket-style naming challenge on its Instagram account from Oct. 3-5. The winning name will be announced on Friday, Oct. 6.
Homecoming weekend begins at Raney Cellars' 11 Manor Avenue location with a Welcome Home Kick-Off Party from 6-9 p.m. The event is open to all alumni and is sponsored by the Office of Alumni Engagement and Recent Graduate Council. Homecoming with Raney Cellars continues into Saturday as it will sell the Marauder-themed IPA during Millersville's game against Shepherd, which kicks off at 2 p.m.
