GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Six members of the Millersville cross country team traveled to Gettysburg for the Aubrey Shenk Invitational and competed for a spot on next week's PSAC Championship roster. All six Marauders ran personal best times.
With the PSAC Championship race a week away, Millersville looked to finalize its 12-athlete roster for the event. Breia Mayes led the Marauders with a 24:29.1 to place 70th in a field of 243 runners. Emily Massage took 78th in 24:42.7. Emma Armstrong ran a time of 24:53.8, placing her 91st. Liz Schaefer ran a 25:30.2 for 115th. Brynne Metz ran a 27:03.7 for 165th place. Clara Burnell turned in a 27:33.7 for 176th.
As a team, Millersville placed 13th out of 26 teams.
Millersville returns to action on Oct. 21 at Bloomsburg for the PSAC Championship.
