Emma Schotsch named All-PSAC Second Team

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Following a strong freshman campaign on the course from women's golfer, Emma Schotsch she was named an All-PSAC Second Team selection by the league's coaches. Schotsch finished the season playing 21 total rounds, while averaging just under an 87, which was the second-best average on the team. She is just the second Marauder in the last six years to earn All-PSAC honors, as Hannah Yanoski earned multiple between 2019-2021.
Schotsch was the Marauders' most consistent golfer throughout the season, finishing with the team's best score in seven of their twelve events. She earned five top-10 finishes, and one top-five finish at the Crofton Invitational. The freshman's best round came at the most important time, day three of the PSAC Championship. After finishing with an 86 and 90 in the first two rounds she strung together a 77 in round three, helping the Marauders keep hold of fourth place on the leaderboard and landed her 13th overall in the event.
Gannon's Sarah White was awarded athlete of the year, while her teammate, Ditte Petersen earned freshman of the year honors. Mercyhurst head coach, Ron Coleman was named coach of the year for his team's performance this season.
