Marauders take eighth at PSAC Championships

YORK, Pa. – The Millersville Marauders finished the PSAC Championship meet in eighth place tying the best team finish since the 2004 season. The 397.5 team points for Millersville was the highest total for the Marauders in conference championship history. The Marauders held their No. 8 position over the entire four-day meet. Conference powerhouse West Chester won the PSAC Title with a team score of 1649 while IUP and Bloomsburg placed second and third with 1379.5 and 868 points, respectively. The final day of competition featured the 100-Free, 200-Back, 200-Breast, 1650-Free, and 400-Free Relay.

"The team earned their way to the eighth-place finish scoring the most points at a Championship meet. Lots of strong swims. Capped off the meet missing the school record in the 400 Free relay by .01. Very strong efforts all around."

- Jordan Plempel took 14th overall in the 200-Back finishing in 2:08.99.
- Maddi Stoner won the B-Final (ninth overall) in the 200-Breast finishing in 2:28.19.
- The Marauders took fifth in the 400-Free Relay as Carolyn Bolden, Hepner, Stoner, and Plempel finished in 3:34.27, just 0.01 seconds away from a new program record.
