EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Millersville women's basketball earned its third Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) victory in its last five games, beating East Stroudsburg 49-43 on the road.
The Marauders took a 6-5 lead early in the first quarter and didn't look back, holding that lead for the rest of Monday night's PSAC East contest. 'Ville saw its largest lead of the night come with just over four minutes remaining in regulation, as
Bria Beverly knocked down two free throws to put the Marauders up 15.

Lauren Lister led all scorers with 13 points, while shooting a very effective 5-7 from the floor and 2-2 from three-point land.
Christina Brown was able to score a season-high nine points in nine minutes off the bench for Head Coach
Sharay Hall.
The Marauders will look to build on this victory with matchups against Shippensburg on Wednesday and East Stroudsburg again on Saturday.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Lauren Lister scored back-to-back buckets that looked to have contact involved at the end of the first quarter to give Millersville a five-point advantage heading into the second.
- Ty Taylor cashed a three-pointer in the far-right corner off a pass from Brenna Ortwein in the second quarter of play. The point guard gave 'Ville its largest lead of the game at the time with the make.
- Christina Brown capped off a six-point third quarter with two made free throws with 19 second remaining in the third. She gave the Marauders a 12 point lead moving into the final quarter of play.
- Lister sealed the deal in the fourth quarter, drilling a free-throw with eight seconds remaining in the game.

- The Marauders held the edge in points off turnovers (18-8), bench points (25-15), fast break points (7-5), points in the paint (20-16), and second chance points (9-3).
- The Marauders forced 21 ESU turnovers.
- Millersville finished the game shooting 34% from the floor, 40% from beyond the arch, and 54.2% from the free-throw line. They shot a team-high 50% in the second quarter.
- Erika Reed recorded a team-high six rebounds.
- La'Shyra Williams and Ortwein each dished out two assists.
