Cross Country takes 13th in Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – In a packed field, Millersville cross country finished in 13th out of the 22 teams competing in the Lock Haven Invitational on Saturday. In total the 6K race featured 249 runners.
HOW IT HAPPENED
"Although we weren't at full strength today because of Abbey Sullivan's injury we had a solid team result. Morgan Janiuk ran a solid race, and I was happy to see Hannah Sweda, Hali Wagner Samantha Foster, and Kaitlyn Leister all have significant improvements. We are looking to really get after next week's race at Paul Short."

- Morgan Janiuk once again paced the Marauders, taking 49th overall with a time of 23:13.2
- Jillian Miller was the next finishers for Ville, coming in at 24:05.6 as the she took 78th.
- Hannah Sweda, Hali Wagner, Samantha Foster, and Kayce McCullough closely trailed Miller, as the quartet all finished in the 24th minute.
- Ville averaged 24:16 in the 6K race, finishing 2:58 off the pace of race winner Walsh who averaged 21:58.
- A total of 249 runners competed in the race.
