Sideline Reflections: Lee Rizzotto '00 and Isaiah Onuschak

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - What stories are told when current Millersville University student-athletes sit down for a conversation with Marauder legends? Find out by watching Sideline Reflections. Sideline Reflections brings together the generations of Millersville Athletics, and the latest edition features 2021 Millersville University Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Lee Rizzotto '00 and current Millersville All-PSAC East linebacker Isaiah Onuschak.
The two star Marauder linebackers from different eras met to discuss all things Millersville football with Rizzotto recounting stories from his playing career, sharing wisdom he learned at Millersville while also asking Onuschak about the current team and goals for the future.
Rizzotto was a two-time team defensive MVP during his career, which ranged from 1996-1999. He helped Millersville to a PSAC East title in 1998 and an NCAA Playoff appearance in his senior year of 1999. Rizzotto was a two-time All-PSAC East and Daktronics All-Northeast Region First Team selection, leading the team in tackles three seasons in a row. He finished with some of the top tackling statistics of all-time, and those marks are now being pursued by Onuschak, who is in his second season on the field. He is set to be officially inducted into the hall of fame on Oct. 15 (purchase tickets for the ceremony here).
Onsuchak earned All-PSAC East Second Team honors as a freshman in 2019 after ranking second in the league in tackles and seventh in sacks. He's totaled 37 tackles through the first three games of 2021. He ranks first in the PSAC with 12.3 tackles per game.
