FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -Â The Millersville volleyball team (2-7) was shutout during their doubleheader on Saturday, falling in straight sets to Nova Southeastern University and Barry University in NSU Shark Invitational.

Emily Hoffman earned all-tournament honors after totaling 23 kills, 33 digs, with six aces over the Marauders four weekend matches.
HOW IT HAPPENED
NSU 3 – Ville 0
- Ville jumped ahead to an 11-10 lead as the first set started off with back-and-forth scoring. A four-point run would put NSU ahead 14-11 and the Sharks never looked back.
- In the second set Ville jumped ahead 5-3 after scoring four straight points early in the set. After Ville worked ahead 10-9, NSU rattled off seven straight point to take a 16-10 advantage.
- The third set started out in similar fashion, with the teams trading point early before NSU would take command during the middle of the set, securing their sweep.
