Women’s golf places seventh at Alvernia Invitational

MOHNTON, Pa. – The Millersville women's golf team shot a single-round score of 366 (+82) to come in seventh overall at the Alvernia Invitational.
The Marauders came in ahead of PSAC rival East Stroudsburg by 12 strokes. York College took first shooting 312 (+28). Alvernia's McKylie Boreman won the individual title shooting one-over (72).
Hannah Yanoski finished at the top of the leaderboard for Millersville. She tied for 13th with a single-round score of 84 (+13). This is the second top-25 finish for Yanoski this season and 23rd in her career.
Alexandra Craig broke the top 25 and tied for 18th overall. Craig recorded an 18-hole score of 86 (+15). This is the fourth top-25 finish for the junior this season.
Cassandra Vogel tied for 35th in the 55-person field. Vogel shot 97 (+26) in the single round.
Amanda Steier rounded out the lineup for the Marauders. She came in 39th with a single-round score of 99 (+28).
The tournament marked the final competition for the Marauders in the Spring 2021 season.
