ABOUT THE MEET

***Fans, please be aware that masks are required for all guests in The Anttonen Natatorium, per conference policy. Click here for the full PSAC Mask Mandate***

  • Millersville swimming returns to the Anttonen Natatorium for their first home meet of the year as the Marauders host the East Stroudsburg Warriors at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
I’ve been very impressed by the efforts put forth in every practice thus far. Early season results always have the ability to vary, especially with such a high percentage of the team being new faces. I believe everyone has adapted well and has shown that the training is effective and that we are going in the right direction.”
-- Eric Usbeck, Millersville Head Coach

SCOUTING THE MARAUDERS

  • Millersville has had a dominant start to their 2021-22 season, posting convincing wins against Frostburg State, Wheeling, and Lock Haven throughout the month of October.
  • Millersville already has five PSAC qualifiers as the following Marauders all recorded qualifying times in the Lock Haven meet.
  • Plempel has made an immediate impact on the program, as the freshman from Harrisburg is already in the record books in two events, recording the sixth and ninth best times in program history in the 200 IM and 200 backstroke respectively.

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS

  • East Stroudsburg comes into play with a 3-2 record, as the Warriors have already beaten Kutztown twice throughout their first handful of meets.
  • The Warriors have one PSAC Qualifying time, as Sarah Lugiard qualified in the 400 IM with a time of 4:58.51.
I think having the familiar facility will make a difference but overall, the competition and ability to make history is what excites them."
– Usbeck, on the first home meet of the year

THE LAST TIME OUT

  • Millersville: The Marauders dominated Lock Haven back on Oct. 16 as Millersville picked up a 132-53 win against the Bald Eagles. The full recap can be found here.
  • East Stroudsburg: The Warriors split their tri-meet against Kutztown and Cal U on Oct. 30. The full recap can be found here.

SERIES HISTORY
