  • Millersville tallied four sacks to boost their season total to 26, which is good for third in the PSAC. The Marauders also rank third in the league in interceptions with 10--just one of the lead. Chas Alisauckas recorded 1 ½ sacks last week, giving him 3 ½ on the season. While he didn't get a sack against Kutztown, Tyler Tate's 9 ½ still rank second in the PSAC and his 13 ½ are ranked fourth. Isaiah Onuschak, with 9.1 tackles per game, slipped to No. 2 in the PSAC in tackles per game, but his 4 ½ sacks are more than any other player ranked in the top 25 of tackles.
  • Rafael Lozada has been a productive tackler in each of the last two weeks, totaling 13 stops and a TFL against Shippensburg and then making 11 tackles with a career-hgh two TFL and his first career sack against Kutztown. Fellow linebacker Garrett Cox has come into his own as well. After totaling three tackles in the first two games combined, he's made at least six stops in five of the last six and has a tackle for loss in four of the last six games. Against Shippensburg, Cox recorded two sacks, a forced fumble and a career-high three tackles for loss.
  • Millersville hasn't had much luck with the quarterback position this season. Four different players have started a game under center. Jack Stagaard earned his first career start last week against Kutztown and went 16-for-30 with three interceptions.
  • Freshman Timmy Smith scored his first career touchdown at Kutztown, scoring on a one-yard run. Smith has logged a carry in four consecutive games and now has 11 carries for 58 yards.
  • Last week, Christan Drayton led Millersville with 50 receiving yards--highest second-highest total of the season. Drayton has caught a pass in every game. Tight end Eli Workinger made a career-high three catches for 47 yards last week. After making just two catches in the first seven games, Workinger has made five grabs for 107 yards in the last two.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES

  • Bloomsburg has been held to 14 or fewer points five times and has allowed at least 34 points in three of the last four games and five times total on the season. Blomsburg averages 306.2 yards per game (10th in the PSAC) and it ranks 10th in the PSAC in both rushing and passing offense.
  • On the defensive side of the ball, the Huskies are allowing 398.9 yards per game, which is 13th in the league. Opponents are averaging 20.3 first downs per game and convert third downs at a rate of nearly 43%. Still, the Huskies are tied for the PSAC lead with 11 interceptions.
  • The Huskies have topped over 500 yards of offense in each of their two wins. They threw for 342 yards against Gannon in September, and against Lock Haven three weeks ago, they rushed for 227 and threw for 246.
  • Bloomsburg is not going to hurt itself with penalties. The Huskies have been flagged just 58 times, and the 52.0 penalty yards per game are the second fewest in the PSAC.
  • Kaleb Monaco is the PSAC's eighth-leading rusher with 544 yards and 4.9 yards per carry. Malik Langley's six receiving touchdowns are tied for fifth in the PSAC.
