ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
•The team claimed the No. 1 spot in this week's NCBWA Division II Atlantic Region Poll and rose eight spots to No. 10 in the NCBWA Division II National Poll. The team also improved to No. 16 nationally in the Collegiate Baseball Division II Coaches' Poll.
•The team enters Wednesday's doubleheader with a five-game winning streak, its longest since last season's 15-game winning streak that lasted from March 24 to April 20 of 2019. 
Luke Trainer, Cole Friese, Jimmy Cain, Jimmy Losh, and Eric Callahan have started all nine of Millersville's games in 2020. Freshmen Darin Miller and Bren Taylor have played in all nine games (starting seven of them) while Manning Brookens has played and started in eight games.
• Losh continues to hit everything in sight and is batting a team-high .484 for the season thusfar. The sophomore has scored 12 runs, driven in six RBIs, and stolen four bases. His on-base percentage (.556) leads the team.
Darin Miller and Luke Trainer have been critical run producers in the Marauders' first nine games. Trainer has driven in a team-high 12 RBIs and is batting .370 while Miller has posted a .348 average with 11 RBIs, two home runs, and a seven-game hitting streak.
• The Marauders have totaled 68 runs in their nine games and allowed just 26 earned runs. In addition, the team is batting a collective .295.
• Junior Jeff Taylor took a no-hitter into the sixth inning last Saturday against Nyack College. He struck out twelve batters, earned his first win as a Marauder and lowered his ERA to 1.93. Sophomore Alex Mykut leads all starting pitchers in ERA (1.17) after two starts and three total appearances.
•Millersville and Goldey-Beacom will play a doubleheader at Goldey-Beacom on Saturday, Feb. 29 and follow it up with a doubleheader at Cooper Park on the the campus of Millersville University on Sunday, March 1.

SCOUTING GOLDEY-BEACOM
• The Goldey-Beacom Lightning are 5-3 in 2020 with wins over Limestone, Clarion, and Frostburg State.
• The Lightning are led offensively by Cole Collins (.385, five runs scored, and two RBIs), Marshall Awtry (.385, five runs scored, three doubles, and two RBIs), and Ivan Solis (.304 and seven runs scored).
• Senior starting pitcher Bailey Spence has been the ace of the staff, posting a 0.69 ERA and a 2-0 record while tossing 13 innings and striking out 10. Junior Mitch Guerrieri also has an ERA under one (0.75) and has pitched twelve innings for the Lightning in 2020.
• Goldey-Beacom finished the 2019 season with a 15-33 overall record and a 14-18 conference record in the CACC.
