• Striver was Millersville's top finisher in the shot put, posting a fourth-place finish in Flight 2 with a toss of 41-8.
THOUGHTS FROM COACH ANDY YOUNG
• "Some of our athletes benefit from strong competitive fields at Bucknell while others benefited from a more developmental level meet like at F&M. With a team of almost 50 we were trying to balance the athletes' needs with these earlier season meets."
• "Our teams and coaches are working hard right now although we aren't getting all the results we were hoping for. We just need to keep trusting our training process and eventually the results will follow."
• "Madison Martin had a good day in the weight throw. Destinee did well in the 60, long jump and 200. De'Asia did well in the 60 with a PSAC mark and improved her hurdle time. Yoangelys qualified in the 800 while Katy Alberici saw big improvements in the 60, winning that event."
