
Women's golf claims top 10 finish at Evann Parker Memorial

NORTH EAST, Pa. – The Millersville University women's golf team put on a consistent performance at the Evan Parker Memorial this weekend landing in the top 10 in an 18-team field to start the season.
The Marauders shot a 367 on Friday leaving them in ninth place after day one. The team fought to erase three shots from their round one total shooting 364 on day two. Millersville ended the tournament with a team score of 731 putting them at 10th place overall.
Gannon took home the title with a 656 performance. West Chester's Megan O'Maray claimed the individual title with a 147 after shooting 72-75.

- Hannah Yanoski led the team claiming 19th. She shot a consistent 86 for a tournament total of 172.
- Alexandra Craig moved up the leader board nine spots to tie for 37th after closing a six-stroke gap. She shot a 92-96 for a tournament total of 178.
NOTES
- Yanoski recorded her 19th top-25 finish.
UP NEXT
- The team will remain at the Lake View Country Club for the Gannon Invitational today, Sept. 8 into tomorrow, Sept. 9.
