
Millersville takes seventh at Glade Springs Intercollegiate

DANIELS, W. Va. - The Millersville women's golf team faced a tough second day of play finishing seventh at the Glade Springs Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Charleston on the Cobb course.
Amanda Steier led the Marauders, just shy of making the top 10, tying for 12th-place in the 68-person field. Gannon University claimed the team title with a 634 while West Chester's Megan O'Mara topped the individuals with a 149.
TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS
• Freshman Amanda Steier came to compete, carding 82-80 for a career-low 162. Steier's 80 also marks a new 18-hole low for the freshman competing in all three tournaments this season.
• Hannah Yanoski came up just shy of the top 25 tying for 28th after shooting 86-85 for a two-day total of 171.
• Alexandra Craig posted her first competitive round under 80 carding a 79 in the first round. Craig finished tied for 32nd with a tournament total of 174.
• Cassandra Vogel recorded a two-round score of 187 while Joelie Bennett tallied a 207.
