LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) unveiled its football preseason poll as well as the PSAC's 150 Contributors team at Monday's media day in Lock Haven.
Millersville enters the 2019 season under second-year head coach J.C. Morgan. The Marauders are coming off of a 2-9 season and have a new-look roster that includes 76 new players on the roster. Millersville returns nine total starters--three on defense and six on offense. The PSAC coaches voted Millersville seventh out of eight teams in the PSAC East. West Chester received six first-place votes and was tabbed the preseason favorite. Conference newcomer Shepherd, which went 7-3 last season after winning three-straight Mountain East titles, was picked second.
"We are very excited to get started," said Morgan. "It's been a long summer and those guys have been away from us for far too long. We are excited for them to get back on Sunday and get to work. As far as the poll is concerned, we aren't worried about that. The good thing about this is that you get to decide it on the field. We are excited to get some games under our belt."

Also as part of media day, in recognition of College Football's sesquicentennial season, the PSAC announced a group of individuals who have been distinguished as The PSAC's 150 Contributors.
Millersville football was represented by Dr. Gene Carpenter, Charles Cooper, Drew Folmar, Will Lewis, Carmen Lex, Scott Martin, Mike McFetridge, Sean Scott, Ricke Stonewall and Edwin "Eddie" Weist.
• Carpenter is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and Millersville's all-time wins leader as a coach, going 212-89-6 from 1970-2000.
• Cooper was the program's first-ever head coach, posting a 26-5-7 record from 1906-10.
• Folmar set 17 school records as a quarterback from 1997-2000 and helped the Marauders to a 30-12 record in four seasons as a head coach.
• Lewis (1976-79) was an All-America First Team selection and a captain on Millersville's first NCAA playoff team. He also played in the NFL, USFL and CFL and had a long career as an executive in the NFL.
• Lex (1975-78) was an All-American quarterback and led the Marauders to their first PSAC title and first "state game" appearance.
• Martin (1990-93) was a three-time All-PSAC East First Team selection and first team All-American as a dominating defensive tackle. He has gone on to a career in public service, now serving in the Pennsylvania Senate.
• McFetridge (1995-98) was voted the PSAC East Athlete of the Year in 1998 and was a two-time All-American at wide receiver.
• Scott (1997-2000) played two seasons with McFetridge and eventually eclipsed his school receiving records. Scott ranked third in the PSAC all-time in receptions and yards.
• Stonewall (1981-84) is Millersville's all-time leading rusher and held the PSAC's single-game rushing record for 35 years.
• Weist (1939-41) was also a star running back, leading the program's first undefeated team in rushing and scoring before serving as a United States Marine in World War II.
Nominees were comprised of representatives from each current member institution. Those in consideration were identified by each institution as individuals who had made significant contributions to college football. To determine the formation of the final 150, guidelines were put in place to have representation from each submitting institution. A committee comprised of seven former sports information directors, including Millersville University Hall of Fame member Greg Wright, then made selections to finalize the PSAC's 150 Contributors.
