ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• The match will be played at a neutral site at Bloomsburg University.
• Millersville is making its first PSAC Tournament appearance since the 2011-12 season. The Marauders placed third at the PSAC Championships that season after defeating this same Edinboro team, 5-4, in the consolation round. Millersville is seeking its first conference title since 1985.
• This season has been a remarkable turnaround for the Marauders, who won just two PSAC matches over their previous six seasons and whose eight wins this season are their most since the 2010-11 campaign.
• Millersville also enters Friday's match on a hot streak, having swept its last three opponents to finish the regular season. It marks the first time since the 1996-97 season the Marauders have swept three-straight opponents.
Carlos Martinez-Lucas had an excellent first season with Millersville, posting an overall record of 15-6, 10-5 at flight one singles, and going 4-1 against PSAC opponents in singles matches. The Marauders also boast two very talented freshmen in Frank Yanni and Rodrigo Lorencin. Yanni went 11-9 overall, including 3-2 against conference opponents in singles, while Lorencin posted a perfect 4-0 mark against PSAC opponents.
• The duo of Lorencin and Yanni has also had success at doubles, going 3-2 against conference foes. Pearson Clary and Ben Fellman are a spotless 2-0 against PSAC opponents in doubles, while Martinez-Lucas and Peter Landis are 10-9 at flight one doubles this season.

LAST TIME IN ACTION: Millersville 7, West Chester 0 (April 17, 2019)
• The Marauders swept doubles and did not allow any singles matches to go to a third set. Peter Landis and Carlos Martinez-Lucas won at flight one doubles, 6-1, Frank Yanni and Rodrigo Lorencin won at flight two, 6-3, and Ben Fellman and Pearson Clary swept their opponents at flight three, 6-0.
• Martinez-Lucas swept his flight one singles match, 6-0, 6-0, and Lorencin did the same at flight five. Landis won at flight two, 6-3, 6-1, Fellman won at flight four, 6-0, 6-1, and Jose Alcazar won at flight six, 6-0, 6-2.
• The only singles match which featured any drama came at flight three, where Yanni edged out his opponent, 7-5, 6-4.

SERIES HISTORY
Series vs. Edinboro: 17-10
Series Streak: Edinboro, 8
First Meeting: 1981-82 (W, 5-4)
Last Meeting: 2019 (L, 2-5)
• The Fighting Scots have won the last eight matches, but the Marauders won 12-straight before that stretch.
• Prior to the last meeting between these two teams, Ediboro had swept Millersville in five-straight matches.
• These two teams have only met in the PSAC Tournament once, which was the Marauders' last playoff match and their last win over the Fighting Scots.

THE LAST MEETING: Edinboro 5, Millersville 2 (March 23, 2019)
• Carlos Martinez-Lucas cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 victory a flight one singles. He is now 7-2 in singles play during the spring.
• Rodrigo Lorencin won a tightly-contested flight six singles match. He took the first set, 6-4, but dropped the second set, 6-3, before winning a very close third set, 11-9.
• Ben Fellman narrowly lost a nail-biting flight four singles match. He lost the first set on a 7-5 tiebreaker, but bounced back to win a 7-4 tiebreaker in the second set. Unfortunately, he fell just short in the third set, 10-5.

SCOUTING THE FIGHTING SCOTS
• Edinboro is entering the tournament under completely opposite conditions as the Marauders. The Fighting Scots are making their eighth-straight playoff appearance and have appeared in the last seven PSAC Championship matches, taking home the conference title three-straight years from 2014-16. The last season Edinboro didn't make the PSAC Championship match was the season it faced Millersville in the consolation round.
• The Fighting Scots enter Friday ranked as the No. 3 team in the Atlantic Region.
• Edinboro's win against the Marauders in the regular season began a stretch of six-straight wins for the Fighting Scots, which lasted until their regular season finale against the No. 1 team in the Atlantic Region, Mercyhurst. Edinboro lost to the Lakers on April 22 by a score of 5-2.
• Tommy Hsu is 7-0 at flight four singles, including a perfect 5-0 against PSAC opponents. Kevin Mboko, Nils Plutat and Mauricio Santos are all 4-1 against conference foes in singles play.
• Plutat and Santos are 8-0 at flight three doubles, including 5-0 against PSAC opponents, while Hsu and Santos are 9-2 at flight two doubles, including 4-1 against conference foes.
