Box Score Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville University men's tennis team earned its first win of the season on Thursday afternoon at Racquet Club West against the University of the District of Columbia by a score of 6-1. The Marauders lone loss of the match came at flight one singles.

Millersville improves to 1-4, while the Firebirds fall to 0-2.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• Frank Yanni teamed up with Ben Fellman to squeak out a win at flight two doubles, 7-5, and Yanni then swept his opponent, 6-0, 6-0, at flight four singles.
• Fellman also won his singles match at flight three, 6-1, 6-3, which clinched the victory for the Marauders.
• Jose Alcazar swept his opponent at flight five singles, 6-0, 6-0.
• Peter Landis and Carlos Martinez-Lucas handily won their flight one doubles match, 6-1. Martinez-Lucas then won his flight two singles match, 6-0, 6-4.

• Millersville swept UDC, 9-0, the last time these two teams played on March 27, 2009.
