
Greene wins second consecutive PSAC Indoor Athlete of the Year Award

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - For the second year in a row, Sunflower Greene is the PSAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Year. Including outdoor seasons, Greene is now a four-time PSAC Field Athlete of the Year.
Greene's 2019 athlete of the year award comes on the heels of her winning her second consecutive NCAA Division II Indoor shot put championship. Greene also swept the shot put and weight throw at the PSAC Indoor Championships, setting meet records in both events. She is the only athlete to win both the shot put and weight throw at the same PSAC Championships and has done so twice.
During the course of the 2018-19 indoor season, Greene was named the PSAC's field athlete of the week four times. She was also voted the USTFCCCA Indoor Athlete of the Year.
