ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• The 25th-ranked Millersville University wrestling team returned to Pucillo Gymnasium when it hosts its final conference dual of the year on Saturday, Feb. 9 against Shippensburg. The Marauders hit the mat for the second to last time before heading to Erie, Pa., for the NCAA Super Region 1 Championships on Saturday, Feb. 23.
• The Marauders will head into the last weekend of the regular season with a 2-7 overall record and 0-5 conference record. Shippensburg is coming to Millersville with a 4-7 record.
• Ranked third in the country,
Shane Ruhnke has pinned seven of 10 opponents. Ruhnke has nine on the season and is two pins shy of his personal best. The last time a Marauder other than Ruhnke had 11 pins except was
Josh Ruppert in the 2011-12 season. At this point last year, Ruhnke had five losses compared to this year's three.
• McGuire has been on role winning eight of his last 11 matches. McGuire holds a 16-10 record. The last time a Marauder freshman recorded more than 15 wins in a season was when
David Wuestner and
Shane Ruhnke did so in the 2014-15 season.
• Starting in the "Shorty" Hitchcock Memorial Classic, redshirt senior
David Wuestner has won eight of his last 11 matches including a 4-2 record in the past six duals. In those past six duals, Wuestner finished the Kuztown Duals with a 3-1 record and then captured a 2-1 decision triumph over Gannon's Keith Swartley.
• Two returning Marauders won matches against Shippensburg last season.
Evan Morrill scored a 5-1 decision over Logan Fisher. Ruhnke picked up a 15-8 major decision against Chris Miller.
D.J. Mele was defeated by current Raider Adam Martz 4-1 in 2017.

Narber faced his younger brother Ryan Narber at the 174-pound weight class. Millersville's Narber took the victory over his brother, 6-1, for Millersville to pull within 15-11 with three matches to go.

Shane Ruhnke controlled his entire match and claimed an 11-3 major decision. Ruhnke earned his fifth major decision win of the season and his 15th
overall victory.
• Millersville started with an early 4-0 lead with sophomore
Aaron Wildonger earning a 17-5 major decision victory over David Reagan. Wildonger recorded his 10th victory of the season.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
• The Raiders' last win was against Division III Elizabethtown on Friday, Jan. 11, 28-10.
• In this year's PSAC Championships, Derek Berberick placed sixth at 285. Berberick leads the team with an 11-5 overall record and a 9-2 dual record. Berberick has won his last seven of the eight matches.
• The squad finished last year with a 7-9 record including Evan Ramos defended his regional title at 197 pounds with a pair of victories to mark his third consecutive national-tournament qualification. Ramos graduated last year.
• Three Raiders have more than six wins featuring Berberick (11), Martz (7) and
Kyle Narber (6).
• Shippensburg has two wrestlers in the newest NWCA National Rankings. Alex Castro (197) is fourth, and Berberick (285) is third, right ahead of Wuestner in fourth.
