Millersville, Pa. – The No. 25 Millersville University wrestling team was defeated by No. 8 ranked Kuztown University 33-9 on Tuesday night at Pucillo Gymnasium. Freshman

Shane Ruhnke (165) were the two Marauders to prevail with wins.
Ruhnke has pinned seven out of his 10 duals opponents, earning his ninth fall of the year. McGuire improved his overall record to 16-10 and 6-4 in duals.
DUAL HIGHLIGHTS
• Freshman
Ryan McGuire started with a 9-7 decision victory. Out a timeout, McGuire earned a takedown in the last minute of the second period to take a 5-3 lead. McGuire began the third period with control but Kuztown's Christopher Crane had a reversal to even the score up at 5-5 a minute left in the third. Shortly after McGuire escaped for a 6-5 lead with a minute left. McGuire kept the momentum going with a takedown but Crane responded with an escape in the same sequence.
• Kuztown answered by winning the next three matches, extending its lead to 19-3.
• Ruhnke recorded his ninth pin of the season at the 4:13 mark. Ruhnke cut the Golden Bear's lead down to 19-9, heading into the last four bouts. After Connor Rogovich built an early lead, Ruhnke answered with a takedown with a minute left of the first period to take the 4-3 lead. Shortly after, Ruhnke scored four near fall points in the last seconds of the second period, to take an 8-4 advantage at the start of the second period. Ruhnke chose the down position to start the second period where he scored an escape and scored a takedown. Ruhnke led 11-4 with 1:30 left in the second period. Ruhnke recorded one last takedown before pinning Rogovich.
• Kuztown used its highly-ranked latter half of the lineup to push past the Marauders, winning the rest of the matches. After the 184-pound battle, the Golden Bears bench was called for unsportsmanlike conduct which deducted a point from Kuztown's total. No. 4 ranked Andrew Dunn Jr. improved his undefeated dual streak to 12 by scoring a 15-4 major decision over
David Wuestner.

• The Golden Bears improved their series streak to 13 straight against the Marauders.
