COACH SHELLY BEHRENS QUOTES
• "Getting the result and winning on the road against such a quality opponent and a championship program, nothing but respect for Shippensburg, their players and their coaching staff. To be able to get out of there with a win and just how it all happened with the overtime just really validated for the kids the payoff for their efforts. The kids earned that. It's a bit invaluable. It's emotion in a different way than what we've experienced through the regular season. One-game season, that's what playoffs are."
• "I'm not sure we can truly comprehend what getting to the semifinals means right now. It's been a bust 24 hours and it was a busy 48 hours leading up to the quarterfinals. In this league, to win in playoffs is huge in the PSAC. The kids are excited and I'm excited we're able to extend our season and be together again. They're so much fun to coach and so much fun to be around. They really truly care about each other. Clearly, they're competitive kids. We're playing against some competitive teams. It's just a fun time of year, playoff field hockey. It's all I've known for however many years as an athlete and a coach. There's nothing like November hockey."
• "For us, we can't control anything that is behind us. All we can truly control is how we react and how we turn up. For us, it's about turning up for and with each other. We're going to prepare. It's a great playoff opponent, obviously a PSAC opponent. It's going to be another great one, there's no doubt in my mind. We're looking forward to the opportunity to be in a semifinal. It's pretty cool and never taken for granted by myself or anyone else. It's hard in this league, it's challenging. East Stroudsburg is a great opponent. I think they're going to be ready, no question. We're looking forward to seeing them again."
