ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• It all comes down to this. Millersville, Bloomsburg and West Chester enter the final weekend of the regular season locked in a three-way tie for the PSAC East lead. Millersville and Bloomsburg go head-to-head while West Chester seemingly has the upper hand with a four-game series against last place Mansfield and head-to-head tiebreakers over both Millersville and Bloomsburg. All three teams have clinched PSAC Tournament appearances. Millersville is looking for its seventh division title since 2008. West Chester has won five in that same span. Bloomsburg is looking to crash the party as no team other than Millersville or West Chester has won a division title since 2008. Bloomsburg last reached the PSAC Tournament in 2014, when it finished 20-8 in the East, second in the standings. Bloomsburg has never before won a PSAC East title, and its three PSAC Championship wins came in 1965, 1956 and 1955.
• All three teams are also in a fight for NCAA Atlantic Regional bids. West Chester most recently jumped Bloomsburg for the No. 1 spot. Bloomsburg was ranked No. 2 in the most recent ranking. Millersville stayed at No. 4 but its loss to Wilmington was not factored into this week's ranking. The final field will be determined following the conference tournament. The top seven teams (five at-large and two automatic qualifiers) will play in the regional.
• Millersville is 3-3 in its last six games and is still looking for consistency at the plate. After scoring 20 runs in the doubleheader at Lock Haven, Millersville has since scored four, four and five runs in its last three games. Two of those games have resulted in losses. Millersville's magic number seems to be six. It is 17-4 when scoring at least six runs in a game.
• Playing clean baseball is key for the Marauders. They have committed 24 errors in their 28 wins, going error-free in 11 of those wins. But in the 16 losses, the Marauders have committed 30 errors, posting zero errors in just two of those games. Still, Millersville ranks fifth in the PSAC in fielding percentage (.963) and is within five points of the league leader. Millersville ranks second in the league in double plays turned (30). They also have the third-fewest stolen bases against (30) and own the third-best stolen base against percentage, throwing out 15 runners.
• Millersville is in position to win the division despite owning the 13th-best batting average and ranking 13th in slugging percentage and on base percentage. The Marauders have made up for it with pitching, posting the third-best team ERA (4.23) and batting average against (.264). Against the PSAC East, Millersville's staff has been even better, posting a 3.42 ERA with 157 strikeouts in 163 innings. In five starts against East opponents, Eli Nabholz is 4-1 with a 2.08 ERA. Cordell Shannon is 4-1 with a 2.51 ERA. Drew Miller has made five starts and four appearances and owns a 3.06 ERA against the East. Among starting pitchers in the PSAC, Nabholz ranks third in ERA, third in innings pitched, sixth in strikeouts and is second in wins.
Kaylor Kulina had two hits against Wilmington, continuing his hot hitting. Kulina is hitting .404 in PSAC East play, has hit safely in nine of his last 11 games and has 20 hits in that stretch. Cole Friese enters the weekend on a five-game hitting streak and has scored eight runs in his last five games.
Ted Williams is just two walks shy of tying Ernest McCoy's all-time Millersville record. Williams enters Friday's games with 115.

SERIES HISTORY
• Since Jon Shehan became Millersville's head coach in 2008, the Marauders are 31-7 against Bloomsburg with five series sweeps including three consecutive season series sweeps (12 wins in a row for Millersville) and sweeps in four of the last five years. Bloomsburg's last series win came in 2007 when they swept a 9-37 Millersville club. Bloomsburg's last victory over Millersville came in 2014. The final was 4-2 in extra innings. No player on Bloomsburg's current roster has a win against Millersville.
• Last season, Millersville outscored Bloomsburg 34-12 in the series. Eli Nabholz picked up a road win in game one, Millersville rallied with four runs in the seventh to win 5-4 in game two. Ted Williams' two-run single gave the Marauders the lead and eventual win. Cordell Shannon pitched a complete game in game three, and in game four, David Summerfield broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the sixth with a bases-loaded triple, helping Millersville to a 7-4 win.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
• Bloomsburg has already matched its highest win total since 2014, and one more win would be the most by a Bloomsburg team since winning 30 games in 1997.
• Bloomsburg leads the PSAC in hitting with a .326 average and .433 OBP. No team has drawn as many walks (215). With an offense like that, the pitching has been good enough. Bloomsburg ranks eighth in the league in ERA (5.58) and is fourth in batting average against (.264). Bloomsburg pitchers make teams put the ball in play as they have walked the sixth-fewest in the PSAC.
• Austin Edgette is certainly on the short list for PSAC East Player of the Year honors. The outfielder leads the nation in hitting at .477. He also ranks second in the PSAC and 15th in Division II in slugging percentage, and is first in the league and second nationally in OBP.
• Cole Swiger should not be overlooked, either. He is hitting .371 with a team-best 16 doubles.
• Three of Bloomsburg's four weekend starters have ERA's under 4.00 and the four starters have combined for a 17-5 record. Trey Hinkle is the ace reliever, going 4-1 with five saves and a 3.09 ERA in 16 appearances.
