GAME NOTES
• Millersville experienced a rollercoaster two-game stretch last week against ranked opponents. The Marauders pulled a 16-15 upset over No. 22 Lock Haven on March 28. Freshman Genevieve Speights drilled her shot on goal with four seconds in the game to give Millersville the win. The Marauders then traveled to No. 19 Indiana (Pa.) on March 31. Millersville played well in the first half, but IUP's offense eventually overwhelmed Millersville, and the Crimson Hawks won 22-14.
• Despite sporting one of the better overall records in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, the Marauders are 2-3 in the conference and sit two spots outside of the last PSAC playoff spot. A win against Shippensburg, who sit 11th in the PSAC with a 1-3 conference record, would help Millersville's chances of getting back to the postseason.
• However, despite its current standings, Shippensburg is not an opponent that should be taken lightly. Head Coach Nicole Miller's squad beat the Marauders at Biemesderfer Stadium almost a year ago to the day. This season, the Raiders took second-place Bloomsburg to overtime in Bloomsburg, Pa., and they have momentum after a decisive win at home against Kutztown and an overtime win at Georgian Court last week.
• The Millersville offense still sports the highest goal tally in the conference with 156 on the season. However, the defense has struggled as of late, and Millersville has allowed the fourth-most goals in the conference. The defense is due for a bounce-back game, and Millersville Head Coach Mia Hall will look to her offense and midfield to control possession and limit Shippensburg's offensive opportunities.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Shippensburg may rank 11th in the current PSAC standings, but the Raiders also rank fifth in the conference with 118 goals scored. Shippensburg's defense conceded only one more goal than Millersville so far this season. Therefore, the deciding factor in this game could be whichever offense has the ball last.
• Standing in the way of Millersville's offense is Shippensburg goalie, KiKi Brasher. She ranks second in the conference with 11.44 saves per game and sixth in the conference in save percentage (.515).
• Millersville will look to play aggressive without the ball. Shippensburg has turned over possession 197 times which is third-worst in the conference.
• Stopping the freshmen attacking duo of Alana Cardaci and Jena MacDonald will be Millersville's biggest defensive priority. Cardaci leads the Raiders with 22 goals and ranks second on the team with 27 points. MacDonald facilitates the offense with a team-high 20 assists along with 12 goals. MacDonald's 20 assists ranks fourth in the PSAC.
