ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• This weekend is a measuring stick series for the Marauders. Le Moyne comes in with a 9-5 record, and while the Marauders are ranked fourth in the NCBWA Atlantic Region Poll, Le Moyne is ranked fourth in the East Region. Le Moyne owns a win over East Stroudsburg and played an ultra-competitive series with Shippensburg last weekend. The Dolphins won the first two games of the series, and three of the games were decided by just one run.
• Millersville is coming off a four-game series sweep of Goldey-Beacom in which it scored at least nine runs in all four games. The Marauders have scored at least four runs in every game and eight or more runs eight times already. The driving force in the lineup has been its top four hitters. Cole Friese, Ted Williams, Ben Snyder and Manning Brookens own eight of the team's 10 homers and are the only four hitters batting over .300.
• Snyder caught fire last weekend's series, going 6 for 11 with 13 RBIs, three homers, three doubles and five runs scored. Snyder now leads the team in average (.450), doubles (7), RBIs (24), slugging percentage (.850) and OBP (.579).
• Friese enters this weekend with a six-game hitting streak during which he has three multi-hit games and 10 runs scored.
• The Marauders excel at drawing walks, totaling 80 and averaging more than six per game. Six Marauders have drawn at least eight walks, and all four of those hitters own on base percentages greater than .400. No one is better than Ted Williams, who has 15 this season and 104 in his career. He recently passed Ryan McCormick for third place in Millersville history. He is now six walks behind Tyler Orris' second-place total of 110. Ernest McCoy's 117, which has stood since 1988, looms 13 walks way.
Drew Miller made his first start of the season last Sunday and picked up his first win. He threw three no-hitting innings with six strikeouts before he was pulled with a large lead in hand. Miller has struck out 17 in 14 innings and his .184 batting average against is best among pitchers with at least three innings of work.

SERIES HISTORY
• After meeting in 1982 and 1987, the two programs did not play again until 2014. Since then, Millersville has gone 5-0 against Le Moyne. Only one of those games (2016) was played at Cooper Park. Millersville won that game 5-3. In the last five meetings, Le Moyne has scored totaled nine runs. Millersville has scored at least five runs in each of the last five games. Among current Marauders, only Ted Williams was in the starting lineup when the teams last played in 2016. Williams went 1 for 4 in the game. Mike Mock earned the save with three strikeouts.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
• After a 6-1 start, the Dolphins have lost four of seven, but its schedule has been daunting, playing seven games against teams ranked in the top 10 of their respective regions in the NCBWA polls.
• The Dolphins can score runs in bunches, having hit double figures four times and eight or more eight times this season. It has hit 17 homers and drawn nearly six walks per game. It's team on base percentage is a robust .413. However, the Dolphins average 8.2 strikeouts per game.
• Millersville will have to be wary of Andrew Taft. He leads the team in eight offensive categories, boasting a slash line of .379/.793/.486. He's hit six homers and six doubles with a team-best 21 RBIs. Among Dolphins with at least six starts, seven are hitting over .300.
• Le Moyne's top three starters have been outstanding. Josiah Gray is 2-0 with a 1.04 ERA, 22 strikeouts to just five walks in three starts covering 17 1/3 innings. Despite a 1-2 record, Ryan Murphy owns a 1.83 ERA in 19 2/3 innings. Sam Walsh also has three starts and has yet to earn a decision, but owns a 2.65 ERA and .210 batting average against.
