ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• Millersville has won four in a row and travels to Kutztown Friday before hosting the Golden Bears at Cooper Park on Saturday. Millersville started PSAC East play with a 2-1 win over Shippensburg Wednesday before rain postponed game two.
• Since giving up 33 runs in three games against Le Moyne, Millersville's pitchers have given up just eight runs over the last four games, spanning 36 innings. Millersville has also given up just 22 hits while striking out 40 in that stretch.
• Projected game one starter
Eli Nabholz has delivered four consecutive quality starts. In that stretch, Nabholz has surrendered seven earned runs on 23 hits over 25 1/3 innings. He leads the team in innings pitched and strikeouts.
• Millersville's bullpen is taking shape as a formidable unit after some early-season struggles. Against Seton Hill, the pen totaled 11 shutout innings, including nine in the 13-inning game three win.
Liam Grande and
Christian Wingard then combined for 2 1/3, hitless, scoreless innings in the win over Shippensburg.
Daniel Ross has not allowed an earned run in four outings covering seven innings. He's struck out nine with a .192 batting average against.
Liam Grande is 3-0 with a save in nine outings and has struck out 15 in 10 2/3.
Stephen Muscovitch has served as a bridge to get Marauders out of tough spots. He's allowed two hits and one run over seven innings. Freshman
Andrew Mayhew struck out five in 3 1/3 innings against Seton Hill.
• With the Marauders playing five league games this week, Ross is expected to get his first start on Saturday. Ross' longest outing of the season is three innings.
Drew Miller is also expected to be in the rotation this weekend after logging one start in his first five appearances. Miller has been outstanding, allowing just nine hits and five earned runs while striking out 20 in 16 innings. Over his last 10 innings, he has allowed just two singles and has not allowed a hit while striking out nine in his last five innings.

Ted Williams drew a walk against Shippensburg to move into a tie with Tyler Orris for No. 2 on Millersville's career walks list. He trails Ernest McCoy's school record mark by seven. Williams leads the PSAC in walks (21) and ranks third in runs scored (22).

Ben Snyder enters the weekend ranked third in the PSAC in RBIs (24), second in doubles (9), third in walks (18) and ninth in OBP (.517).
SERIES HISTORY
• From 2001-2007 Millersville went 5-29 against Kutztown, but since the arrival of
Jon Shehan as the head coach, the Marauders have gone 28-16 against the Golden Bears. Millersville has won or split every regular season series with Kutztown since 2007. Last season the clubs split four games played at Cooper Park. It was a low-scoring series with Millersville totaling 11 runs to Kutztown's nine. Three of the games were decided by one run and the opener was a 1-0 Millersville win in extra innings. The game ended on a
Chas McCormick walk-off walk. Nabholz struck out 12 in a complete game effort.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
• Kutztown had won five of six before losing both games of a doubleheader at Bloomsburg Sunday. The Golden Bears had scored 45 in its three previous games but was limited to just one run in both of the Bloomsburg games. Bloomsburg pitchers held Kutztown to a total of nine hits and struck out 20. Prior to that weekend, however, Kutztown had averaged 9.3 runs per game. Kutztown also beat nationally-ranked Mercyhurst 7-6 on March 4.
• Seven regulars boast on base percentages over .400, and that group is led by Nick Lafferty's .489 mark. Lafferty is also hitting a team-high .432 with 12 RBIs. Kutztown does not depend on the long ball to score runs as it has hit just five homers.
• Through 12 games, seven different Golden Bears have started games while Millersville has had just four different starters. As a result, Millersville has three pitchers with 28 or more innings pitched while Kutztown's innings leader is Michaell Hunter with 13. Hunter owns a 2-0 record and 2.08 ERA. His longest outing was five innings against the Apprentice School on Feb. 23. he pitched two innings of relief at Bloomsburg Sunday.
