GAME OVERVIEW
• Millersville is in the enviable position of controlling its own destiny for seeding as it heads to East Stroudsburg. The Marauders have already clinched a home playoff spot and are in a battle with the Kutztown Golden Bears. Millersville currently sits in the third spot in the PSAC East and can clinch the third seed with a win over the Warriors. Millersville can still clinch the third seed if they lose as long as Kutztown also loses this weekend. The Marauders do not plan on leaving things to chance, especially with Coach Fleig sitting at 499 career wins at Millersville.
• The Marauders already earned one victory over the Warriors with a decisive 69-48 victory in Pucillo Gymnasium. Millersville exerted its will against East Stroudsburg in the paint as they outscored the Warriors 42-22 in the paint and out-rebounded the Warriors 48-36. The Marauders held PSAC top-5 scorer Imani Brown to only 10 points while no other Warrior reached double figures. Millersville's perimeter defense suppressed East Stroudsburg's shooting as the Warriors shot 5-31 from the three point line.
• Millersville heads to East Stroudsburg with momentum on its side. The Marauders are 4-1 in the month of February and are coming off an 81-57 victory over the Lock Haven Bald Eagles. Senior
Alayah Hall led all scorers on Senior Day with 16 points with her 16th point also equaling her 1,000th career point in the black and gold. The Marauders grinded down the Bald Eagles outscoring them 44-24 in the paint and scoring 24 more points off Lock Haven turnovers.
• With her name already emblazoned in the Millersville women's basketball history books, Hall has at least two more games to move her name up the scoring list. The guard is averaging 16.9 points per game and has scored in double figures in 23 of 25 games this season. If she scores at least 22 points, she can move up from 22nd to 18th all-time in scoring.
• Millersville will look to freshman
Lauren Lister to replicate her first performance against East Stroudsburg. Her start against the Warriors was the first in her current eight game start streak. She scored 23 points against the Warriors while scoring in double-figures in all eight games of the streak.
• Redshirt junior
Janelle Robinson missed the first East Stroudsburg game, but she can be a big factor in an upset victory at East Stroudsburg. She has scored in double figures in three of her last five games. On top of scoring, she is pivotal in earning extra possessions for Millersville. Robinson is averaging 8.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game in her last five.
SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
• The Warriors are a great team that have already clinched the second seed in the PSAC East. The Warriors thrive in Koehler Fieldhouse as they sport a 9-3 record at home. Two of East Stroudsburg's losses at home have been single-digit losses. One to California, who ranked fourth in the country at the time, and one to PSAC East first-seeded West Chester.
• East Stroudsburg love to shoot the three. The Warriors rank fifth in the conference with 179 made three pointers. While Millersville held East Stroudsburg to 5-31 shooting from the three-point line in the last meeting, the Marauders still rank towards the bottom of the conference in three-point defense. Millersville will need to make sure they close out shooters to prevent East Stroudsburg from getting hot.
• The Warriors are careful with the ball in their hands. They rank fifth in the conference with a 4.16 turnover margin. Currently, they force 18.6 turnovers per game out of there opponents while only turning the ball over 14.2 times per game.
• East Stroudsburg's offense runs through senior Imani Brown. The guard ranks fourth in the PSAC with 18.1 points per game. Her scoring prowess is well documented as she sits 11th in program history with 1,176 points. Furthermore, she likes to shoot from beyond the arch, and she ranks in the top-10 in the PSAC in three pointers made per game.
