• After the Golden Bears opened the scoring in the sixth minute, the Marauders responded with a goal of their own in the eighth minute.
Kyra Brakefield took a penalty corner and sent the ball to
Erica Tarsi who was stationed at the top left of the circle. Tarsi rocketed a shot towards the left side of the goal and Brakefield was there to tip the ball over the leg on the lunging goalkeeper to knot up the score.
• Millersville then took the lead in the 11th minute.
Sol Ortiz-Kreiner sent a penalty corner pass to
Jordan Goddard at the top of the circle. Goddard fired off a hard shot that made it into the back of the cage. It was the first goal of her collegiate career.
• Kutztown out shot the Marauders 10-7 and held a 7-4 edge in penalty corners, including five in the second half. However, the Marauder defense held strong and
Autumn Peters made four saves in the cage to preserve the lead.
• The Golden Bears had allowed only one goal and four shots in their last five games prior to this matchup.

• The No. 5 Raiders enter Tuesday with an overall record of 8-3 and a 2-2 mark in PSAC play.
• The two-time reigning national champions are coming off their own victory against Kutztown, a thrilling 3-2 overtime road win on Oct. 12. The Golden Bears tied the game in the final minute of regulation, but Adrienne McGarrigle scored off her own rebound just two minutes into overtime to give Shippensburg the victory. McGarrigle also scored the first goal of the game and Jazmin Petrantonio scored the third Raiders goal. Molly Herigan, Rosalia Cappadora and Jenna Sluymer each recorded one assist while Ally Mooney made eight stops in the cage.
• Petrantonio is the conference leader is goals (15), points (33) and shots (79). Sluymer is tied for second in the PSAC and leads her team in assists (5), is ranked ninth in shots (41) and is tied for third on the Raiders in goals (4) and second in points (13). Megan Green is second on Shippensburg in goals (5).
• Ally Mooney is fifth in the conference in saves (48) and boasts a 1.83 GAA and .727 save percentage.
• The Raiders are second in the PSAC in goals scored (38) and only trail East Stroudsburg for the conference lead by one. Shippensburg is eighth in the PSAC in goals allowed (21).
