Kutztown, Pa. – The Millersville wrestling team earned victories over East Stroudsburg and UNC Pembroke on the first day of the Kutztown Duals. The Marauders won 19-18 on criteria over the Warriors and 23-13 over the Braves. By beating East Stroudsburg, Millersville earned its first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) win of the season.
VS. EAST STROUDSBURG

Evan Morrill and 197-pound junior
Colton Dull brought the lead from 18-6 all the way back to 18-15 for senior
Zachary Yackenchick to tie the match up to 18-18. The team won a point on criteria.
Morrill had an 11-4 decision victory to put Millersville down by nine points (18-9). Morrill recorded his eighth victory of the season and sixth in duals. The next match, Dull pinned Daniel Makagon less than a minute into the match (0:46). Dull earned his first pin this season and seventh pin in his career. Dull pushed the the clinching match to the 285-pound weight class.
Yackenchick tied the match up 18-18 with a 4-3 decision win over Hunter Marhan that led to the Marauders winning the team match off a criteria.
At 165, No. 5 ranked Mike Raccioppi overtook No. 9 ranked

Alex Baider claimed a 9-2 victory over Peter Nace.

Ryan Juarez earned his first victory as a Marauder with a nine-second pin over Ethan Hnasko. Juarez transferred in from University of Buffalo at the start of the semester, and Friday marked his first time in the lineup. Juarez recorded the fastest pin this season for a Millersville wrestler.
At 157, senior
Seth Decker won in an 11-9 decision victory over Eric Milks. Decker extended the Millersville lead to 12-7 with five matches left. Ruhnke went to overtime against Rodney Shepard in the 165-pound weight class and got a takedown for the 13-11 decision win.
Dull finished his day with a 15-0 technical fall over Bryce Walker, clinching the win for Millersville. Dull earned his sixth technical fall of the season.
Baider earned his 11th win of the season with a 3-2 decision win over Jayquon McEntyre.
